Dummy Sirens - How Successful Are They?

We have plans to do up the entire house inside over the next 18-months to two years, but immediately we wanted to do something to boost our home security solutions. That’s where I found Response Electronics, through a recommendation of a friend.

When we moved in, we just brought our old home alarm system with us. It is a basic model, quite old now and we do plan to upgrade this towards the end of the remodelling of the property. Until that time though, we just wanted to upgrade some aspect of our home security without it costing us the earth. We thought about buying a new security camera or hooking up a video doorbell to our existing alarm system, but it wasn’t compatible.

The guys at Response were fantastic, suggesting a few options for dummy sirens. Many came as an accessory with a full alarm system, and in the end, we were so blown away that we purchased a brand-new home alarm system. We added a dummy siren alongside it as an added layer of visual deterrence and protection for the house during these uncertain times when we are getting to know the area and don’t yet feel completely safe and calm, especially at night or when we are out of the home.

This purchase has certainly put our mind at ease and has added that extra layer of protection that we needed to settle in better in our new home.
