How to Choose a Security Doorbell

I’d been reading a lot online about security doorbells recently and I wasn’t sure exactly what one was. I mean, a doorbell is there just to ring when someone is at your front door right? After digging a little deeper, and discovering the team at Response, I’ve been impressed by how much difference a security doorbell can actually make to your home security. 

It’s always been a pain to me that sometimes you’ll be at work, or out shopping, or away for whatever reason, and that is the time a package is delivered to your home. I’m sick and tired of coming home and finding a note to say there has been an attempted delivery, or that the package has been left with a neighbour, or under a bush, or a multitude of other solutions that are given (sometimes I don’t even know if the courier has knocked the front door).

With a security doorbell from Response I can now see live HD video footage of my front door, and through an app on my smartphone I can also speak to whoever has pressed the doorbell. This is brilliant, as if there is a courier, I can tell them exactly where to leave a package securely, or the time I’m expected back. It takes out all the annoyance of the guesswork.

Aside from that it was very easy to install and looks good. It’s not bulky, connects to the home via Wi-Fi and just having access to a live video feed and playback, provides so much peace of mind that I can see who is at my front door, and using the motion detection option if anyone has been snooping around.
