FakeTV for an Intuitive Home Security System

I have close friends and family members who can pop in and take in the mail, make sure the house looks ‘lived in’ but I’m always on the lookout for something better, something that doesn’t put other people out too much.

With the installation of the FakeTV I think I’ve found the perfect answer. It works in much the same way as exterior lights that automatically turn on at night, but replicates what a real TV looks like from outside and behind blinds and curtains.

It offers unpredictability, so it doesn’t just look like a single block of light at all times. Instead the light flickers like a real TV does! It’s provided me with complete peace of mind that there is an extra deterrent to potential burglars when I’m away for long periods of time on business. I still ask my friends and family to pop in from time to time to make sure everything is ok, and I’ve got other products that allow me to track home from my smartphone, but the FakeTV is one of my favourite additions to my home security.

I was also worried about my carbon footprint increasing by having a light on at all times, but I needn’t have worried, the FakeTV is eco-friendly, uses much less power than any night-light and has a light sensor to trigger only at dusk.
