Terms & Conditions

General
These Terms & Conditions apply to retail sales only. Trade sales are subject to Trade Terms & Conditions, a copy of which can be obtained from: trade@responseelectronics.com or by calling 0845 3731353

All good are supplied on a 30 DAY NO QUIBBLE WARRANTY, in addition to the Manufacturer's Warranty. If you are not completely satisfied with our goods, for any reason, just return them to us for a full refund.

After Sales Service
Our Service Promise to You - We want you to come back and shop with us again and again. Buying goods at great prices is fine, but what happens if they develop a fault?

We promise that we will give you as much care and attention should your purchase develop a fault as we do when selling you the item.

Customer Helpline We operate a fully qualified Telephone Help Line, during normal office hours, and we would be pleased to hear from you if you require our assistance. Simply call us on local number 0845 373 1353. (0900 - 1730 Monday to Thursday and 0900 - 1700 Friday)

Fraud/Verification Checks
From time to time, we receive possible fraud alerts regarding payments we are processing on the site. This is quite normal and can often be due to a mis-type postcode or a customer moving house etc. Depending on the circumstances, and for your security, we may place your order on hold temporarily whilst we carry out a simple verification of your details. This will quite often involve a very brief phone call from one of our operatives or e-mail communication, and we may request a scan or fax copy of one of the following to verify your identification.

•Utility Bill (Gas, Electricity, Telephone, Water)
•Council Tax Bill/Council Rent Book
•Driving Licence with address
•TV Licence
•Other recognised form of proof of identification

Damage or shortages
If goods arrive in a damaged condition, or if there is a shortage in delivery, you must note this on the carrier's delivery schedule. It is your responsibility to inform us by phone or email within 24 hours of delivery of any damages or shortages.

Delivery
We aim to despatch all orders placed before 2.00 pm the same or next working day upon receipt of cleared payment. Orders are despatched via the Royal Mail First Class Postal Service or National Courier. Our Next Day National Courier delivery service is subject to stock availability at the time of receipt of cleared payment for your order. We are not able to say at which time of day an item will be delivered.

We will endeavor to be as accurate as possible with delivery dates, however any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses you might incur as a result of a delay in receiving your goods or subsequent delays that may result from delivery problems.

Delivery Charges
Deliver of orders to the value of £50.00 or over is Free of Charge and for orders under £50.00 the delivery charge is a flat rate of £1.95 (applies to mainland UK only). Where Free Delivery is quoted against a product this relates to standard Royal Mail 1st Class Delivery to Mainland UK, for alternative delivery methods or for delivery rates outside of Mainland UK please contact our Customer Services Helpline

Returns
We offer a no-quibble returns policy. If you decide you do not require the goods, for any reason, they may be returned within 30 days of receiving them (at your own expense) for a full refund. A returns reference number needs to be obtained from the Local Rate Customer Help Line on 0845 373 1353 prior to the goods being returned. (0900 - 1700 Monday to Friday). Goods must be returned in their original packaging unused and in original condition. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods are adequately packaged in the event of any return.

Instruction Manuals
We recommend that if you are experiencing problems with your purchase that you check out the instruction manual. Experience tells us that in many cases checking there can often solve what seems like a fault quickly and easily.

Faulty Goods & Guarantees
In the unlikely event that a product purchased from Response Electronics does not operate upon arrival or develops a fault during the warranty period, the following applies:

• Within 30 days of receipt of goods: full refund or replacement
• 31 days of receipt through to the end of the warranty period: product exchange or replacement to the value of the purchase price.

To report a fault and to arrange the return of faulty goods please contact our Customer Helpline on 0845 373 1353 (Local Rate). One of our helpline technicians will discuss the nature of the fault with you, as we often find that ‘faults’ are configuration or compatibility issues that can be resolved over the telephone and in such cases we can help you get your product working, saving you the trouble of returning a non-faulty item. This in no way affects your statutory rights and is simply something we ask our customers to perform in order to ensure that products returned are genuinely faulty and to speed up the product exchange/refund/replacement process. Upon testing the returned product, should it be found not to have a fault then we will return it to you at the address provided via Royal Mail’s First Class delivery service.

If we agree to Refund your Return Postage Costs, we will only do so, providing you include a Receipt from the Post Office and you have quoted the Returns Reference Number as obtained from our Customer Helpline.
We will only refund items sent via First/second Class postage, Recorded postage costs will not be refunded, unless otherwise agreed when obtaining a Returns Reference number.

Note: If a receipt is not provided we will not refund your postage. The Postage Frank mark on the package is not Proof of Postage and will not be accepted.
Please ensure you include all packaging, manuals, accessories etc.

Restrictions
We try to ensure the information shown on our Response Alarms Website is as accurate as possible.
We cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those regarding price. We have a policy of continuous improvement and we reserve the right to change the specification of our products without notice.

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn from sale at any time.

All goods remain the property of Response Electronics Ltd until full payment is received.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
