The PowerMid Remote Control Extender Kit (XPM10CLCDR) includes a wireless Infrared Transmitter, Receiver and an 8in1 Touch Screen Universal LCD Remote Control (replacing up to 8 Remote Controls). The PowerMid extends the normal operating range of a Remote Control by up to 30 metres, enabling you to control any Audio/Video device such as your Satellite or Cable Box, TV, VCR or Hi-Fi from any room in your house. The PowerMid works by converting the infrared signal from your remote into a RF Signal, this signal is then sent to the Receiver which converts the RF signal back to infrared.
